With almost six months of 2018 under our belts, it’s time to review how are things going for North America’s polyethylene industry. The next presentation will review how exports out of North America are faring, now that many of the new polyethylene plants are up and running. We will see which ports are benefiting from increased traffic and which regions are seeing increases in imports from the U.S. We will take a look at the explosion in ethane exports and how it is impacting the cost position of U.S. producers and will finalize with a short commentary on the issue of the year – plastic-driven ocean pollution.
